This week, our Year Two pupils had the opportunity to visit Beamish Museum as part of our local history learning about mining. The children enjoyed visiting the mine, looking inside the home of Norman Cornish and seeing a pit pony! We also had the chance to see a steam train and ride on a tram around the museum! Well done to our Year Two children for their curiosity and thirst for learning!
