We were delighted to welcome parents and carers into school for our EYFS Phonics and Reading Workshop. The session provided an opportunity to explore how we teach phonics in the Early Years, with a focus on the Floppy’s Phonics scheme, which supports our structured and engaging approach to early reading.
Parents and carers gained insights into how children begin to decode sounds, blend words, and develop a love for reading right from the start of their learning journey. We also shared practical tips on how families can support reading at home, building confidence and enjoyment for our youngest learners.
