Autumn Walk

This week we went on a lovely autumn walk to explore the changes happening around us. The children were excited to spot lots of signs of autumn — we ticked off colourful leaves, shiny conkers, berries, fungi, and even saw a busy squirrel collecting food for the colder months!

As well as observing nature, we also learned about road safety. The children practised stopping at the kerb, looking and listening carefully, and waiting for the green man before crossing at the pedestrian crossing. Everyone remembered to hold hands and walk safely together.

It was a wonderful opportunity to explore our local area, develop awareness of the changing seasons, and learn how to keep safe when out and about.
