This week, we were delighted to invite parents and carers of Year One pupils into school to take part in a practical Phonics workshop, with a focus on the strategies used to support reading and writing in Year One. This was a wonderful opportunity for parents and carers to become familiar with the methods we use in class, to support phonics development at home!
