This week, our Year 6 students had the incredible opportunity to visit Nissan, one of the North East’s largest employers. During their visit, they participated in the Monozukuri Caravan program, an engaging experience focused on car design and production.
Highlights of the day included working on a real-life LEGO production line, testing their skills with factory-inspired activities, and exploring how robots assist in car manufacturing. Some lucky students even received drawings created by the robots themselves!
The visit also featured an exciting video showcasing Nissan’s innovative vision for the cars of the future, giving the pupils a glimpse into cutting-edge automotive technology.
We always appreciate the effort Nissan puts into these educational programs. It’s a fantastic way to connect with a leading local employer and bring real-world learning to life. A truly unforgettable day!
