Year 6 today visited Nissan to take part in the Nissan Monozukuri Caravan programme. The day consists of a blend of constructing a Nissan style car – Buddy – on a Lego production line, being creative with Lego to design a new vehicle, learning how robotics ensures Nissan cars are produced at the rate of 2 every minute(!) and seeing the different careers that are involved in the NE manufacturing company. This is always a great day, and year 6 pupils had a great time representing the school well. We all experienced Kaizen … making the most of a great opportunity.
