Our year 5 clases welcomed their adults in for an art workshop to produce their own quilt, inspired by the American artist, Faith Ringgold.
The children began by researching Faith Ringgold, they then practised back stitch, running stitch and cross stitch to give different patterns.
Then, they created their own quilt to tell ‘My Story’ and their adults joined them to finish this off on Monday afternoon.
Lovely to see so many people enjoying to work with textiles.
