Modelling blood cells using Scratch coding

In science, year 6 are learning about the different blood cells and what their functions are. To help with their understanding, they also used the coding platform, Scratch, to model what the blood cells do. In particular, looking at the white blood cells ‘chasing and catching’ any virus or bacteria cells in the blood.

The coding includes loop, condition and broadcast blocks to help the flow of the code. Pupils then take the basic coding and improve it. A great bunch of coders!
