This week, we have had a several maths workshops to show parents how maths is taught within school. Each workshop looked at particular ways that skills are taught, terminology that is used and how particular calculations are laid out. We also included the ‘bar model’ concept that we use a lot to help solve problems. Information about the maths curriculum can be found in the ‘Curriculum section’ of the main website.
