Key Stage 1
This morning, our classrooms were transformed into an underwater world as our students took part in an exciting live webinar: “Dive into the World of Manta Rays” with the incredible marine charity, The Manta Trust. The children loved virtually diving into the ocean to learn about these gentle giants. The team at The Manta Trust was fantastic, answering our students’ curious questions and inspiring a whole new generation of marine conservationists. A huge well done to all the children for their fantastic listening and brilliant questions. We definitely have some future marine biologists in our midst!
Key Stage 2
For World Ocean Day, some of our UKS2 classes tuned into a live Dive into the World of Manta Rays lesson led by Jen Spacagna from the Manta Trust. Students went on a virtual deep-sea adventure to learn how these gentle giants live and navigate our oceans. The children were absolutely captivated by the experience and left inspired to protect marine life!
