At Red Rose, our Key Stage 1 and EYFS pupils benefit from a year-round Forest School programme. This immersive experience allows them to spend time in our dedicated Forest School area, using natural materials to design and create a variety of projects.
This week, all of our Key Stage 2 pupils have been enjoying a special Forest School week. They’ve participated in a wide range of activities, including crafting bird feeders, building Christmas trees, constructing dens, and setting up swings. After time spent exploring the natural environment, each session has concluded around a cosy fire, toasting marshmallows and singing festive Christmas songs.
It has been a truly wonderful week, enhanced by excellent weather and the enthusiasm of all involved.
