Durham Dash is an event that we always look forward to each year. This year the event took place at Beamish Museum and on a stunning evening in the magnificent grounds of Beamish representatives from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 took part. Running a 650 metre loop, or chest pass, standing long jump, bounce test or javlin throw … every competitor did their very best. We had some great success with 9 running finalists, 4 of which went on to medal: Phoebe, Gracie, Matthew and Max. In the field events we achieved 2 medals Lola and Daisy.
Everyone performed to their best ability and were a real credit to the school. Demonstrating all of our Red Rose values along the way. Thank you to parents and carers for supporting the event. Roll on next year!
