Pupils in Key Stage One enjoyed an exciting educational visit to South Shields this week as part of their geography topic. The trip gave children the chance to explore and identify a range of physical and human features in a real-world setting.
During the visit, pupils walked along the coastline to observe physical features such as cliffs, the beach, and the sea, while also identifying human features including buildings, roads, and the promenade. The trip helped bring classroom learning to life and encouraged pupils to ask questions and make observations about their local environment.
Everyone had a fantastic day exploring, learning, and enjoying the outdoors!
