On Friday, our cricket teams and cricket club participants were the guard of honour at the Banks Hones Riverside in Chester-le-Street. Durham Women were playing Eseex Women in a T20 Vitality Blast game. In glorious sunshine, our pupils welcomed onto the pitch the umpires, the Essex team and the opening batters for Durham Women, Suzie Bates and Leah Dobson. This was a real honour to be asked .
