British Science Week

Children began this week with an assembly to introduce British Science Week 2025, focusing on ‘Change and Adaptation’. We looked at change and adaptation in plants and animals, as well as changes in medicine and technology. The assembly concluded with a visit from Sarah from ‘Oases’, who talked to us about making changes in school to save energy and help protect our planet.

On Monday, KS2 children joined a live online lesson with Tim Peake to complete their astronaut training! Across the school, we have talked about ‘adaptation in animals’, ‘careers in science’, and ‘how scientists have made important changes that have helped improve our lives!’
