This afternoon, we were represented by some year 5 and 6 pupils at the Durham and Chester-le-Street School Sports Partnership’s Cricket Festival – run by Durham County Cricket Foundation. We had a brilliant afternoon at the pituresque Durham City Cricket Club in beautiful sunshine. The games were, as cricket should be, played with good sporting attitude – recognising everyone’s efforts, achievements and successes. Some fantasic bowling and batting was on display and we witnessed an outstanding catch in our first game – catching one of our batters out! Well done to everyone for a great attitude and developing everyone’s cricket skills.
