As part of our Understanding the World learning, the Early Years children visited St Mary and St Cuthbert’s Church. They listened to a Bible story and explored the church, observing features such as the building, symbols and the quiet atmosphere. The visit helped children learn about different places in their community and begin to understand traditions and beliefs that are important to others.
